Smaller bins
How to apply
We offer streamlined smaller bins for people who have less waste to dispose of or for properties with only one or two residents. These bins are 140 litre capacity and are available for refuse, recycling and garden waste.
To swap your existing bin, tell us:
- Which container(s) you would like to swap
- Address (where the smaller bin is required)
- Your contact details
You can also apply for a smaller bin by phone: 01455 238141 or by visiting the Hinckley Hub.
Time-scale
We aim to replace your bin(s) within five working days.
Households of five or more permanent residents
You can request a 360 litre, 240 litre (our standard size bin) or 140 litre capacity refuse bin.
