Find out what's on22 November to 6 January 2025 – Lights in the mead
Thousands of twinkling fairy lights in hues of green, blue and pink will create a trail of lights around the trees, pathways and bandstand in Argents Mead, Hinckley from Friday 22 November 2024 until Monday 6 January 2025.
'Lights in the Mead' will be on daily every evening from 4 to 10pm, alongside the town centre's Christmas lights and Christmas tree in Market Place.
Wednesday 4 December – Christmas Lights Car Trail
Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council invites local disabled and elderly care home residents to come into Hinckley to see the Christmas lights from 6pm to 8pm, entry at the top of Castle Street.
Friday 13 December – Carols around the tree
Wrap up warm and join in the spirit of Christmas by singing well-known carols around the town centre Christmas tree. Churches Together and Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council invite you to Hinckley Carols around the tree, which will be taking place at 4.15pm in the Market Place in Hinckley. All are welcome to attend.
Sunday 15 December – Festive Feast and Crafts Market
Your Festive Feast and Crafts Market returns to Market Place in Hinckley. Enjoy a range of street food stalls, warm mulled wine and crafts stalls whilst enjoying live Christmas music and entertainment in front of the town centre Christmas tree. - Saturday 7, 14 and 21 December – Salvation Army and MIND brass band in Market Place 10.30 – 2.30pm
- Saturday 21 December – Hinckley BID’s Festive Fun. In addition to Santa’s Grotto at The Birdie Bunker and in collaboration with NWSLC, Hinckley BID brings festive live music to The Britannia Centre. Performed by the students and teachers from NWSLC’s Hinckley Campus there will be fun and free entertainment for everyone
- 2 December 2024 to 6 January 2025 – Hinckley & Bosworth at 50 1974 to 2024 Exhibition at Atkins Gallery, a free exhibition of photos, memories and rarely seen items telling the story of how life has changed in Hinckley and Bosworth over the last 50 years
