What happens if the tenancy is renewed or extended?

If the tenant remains in the property on a rolling statutory periodic tenancy, the tenancy deposit protection scheme (TDP) can be extended free of charge. Alternatively, if a new fixed term assured short hold tenancy is offered, a new protection fee can be paid to cover the new tenancy agreement.
