Fees and how to apply
Fees
A fee of £800 will be payable on application for the licence and there will also be an annual fee. The first annual fee of £330 is payable 30 days after the issue of the premises licence. Each premises will only be able to have a single premises licence at any time except for tracks which may hold more than one premises licence, as long as each licence relates to a different, specified area of the track.

The notification of application for a premises licence form (Notice B) (DOC) must be completed and sent to all the gambling responsible authorities
Advertising
Please note that if you are applying for the grant or variation of a premises licence, or for a provisional statement, you must advertise your application using the public notice form (Notice A) (DOC)
Time period for council to normally approve the application
Two months
What happens if your application is not processed by this council within the normal approval time period? (Tacit consent)
It is in the public interest that this council must process the application. It may be required to consult other external agencies prior to making a decision. Therefore, should you not receive confirmation that your licence application has been granted or rejected within two months of submission, you may not commence your business.

Any person who is refused a licence or objects to a condition attached to a licence may appeal to the local magistrates' court.
Any change in circumstance
If you wish to vary any licence condition, or change premises or proprietor, then a new application will be required.
