Codes of conduct

Summary

The Localism Act 2011 prescribes that every Borough and Parish Council must adopt a code of conduct and the councillors for each council are bound by it when they act as a councillor.

We, Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, produce a code of conduct which we review annually and update when required. Each parish and town council can adopt a version of our code of conduct or create their own.
