Who can use an outdoor gym?
The great thing about specialist outdoor gym equipment is that it is for adults of all ages, from beginners to advanced athletes. It is attractive and fun to use. Some installations have been called playgrounds for adults (why should children have all the fun?). As the equipment is full size, it is only suitable for use by adults and young people over the age of 14 years.
We have several pieces of equipment across the different parks that can be used by wheelchair uses. The best park for disability-friendly equipment is Newbold Verdon which has four wheelchair accessible pieces of equipment.
