Dementia Friendly Community
The Hinckley and Bosworth Dementia Friendly Community is made up of a group of organisations and individuals who have come together with the aim of making the borough of Hinckley and Bosworth a better place to live for people with dementia and their carers.
Anyone with an interest and commitment to improving the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers can join. This could be in a traditional healthcare setting, public health, local business or a voluntary organisation which plays a part in the prevention, care and support of people who have dementia. It is also open to people with dementia, their carers, family and friends.
The Dementia Friendly Community meets quarterly in March, June, September and December.
