Resident's car park permit
Overview
Our resident's permit is an electronic permit. You will not receive a paper permit. Your permit details will be available for our parking enforcement officers to view electronically.
Resident's permits are limited to residents who live in certain streets close to the car parks in Hinckley, and the number of permits available through this scheme is limited.
If you qualify for our resident's permit, you can park in your designated car park from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. Sundays and Bank Holidays are free.
Car parks and who can apply:
- Alma Road, LE10 1PN:
- Available to residents of Alma Road, Spencer Street and Dare's Walk
- Castle (Hill Street), LE10 1DS:
- Available to residents of Crown and Anchor Yard and Wood Street only
- Druid Street, LE10 1QQ:
- Available to residents of Druid Street and Upper Bond Street only
- Holliers Walk, LE10 1QW:
- Available to residents of Holliers Walk, Council Road and Druid Street only
- Thornycroft Road, LE10 1BQ:
- Available to residents of Thornycroft Road only
- Trinity Vicarage, LE10 0DU:
- Available to residents of Trinity Vicarage Lane and Trinity Lane only
When you apply for your permit, you will be asked for proof of your home address. We may refuse your application if you do not meet the criteria or if all allocations have been taken.
Price
Resident's permits are valid for one year, the price is:
- £55 per year
The charges are inclusive of VAT
How to apply
You can apply for a resident's permit through the MiPermit portal. You will be asked to create a MiPermit account after you have purchased your parking permit.
