Disabled parking

Overview

Disabled parking bays

Vehicles displaying a valid badge may be parked free of charge in all council and pay and display car parks. Parking bays for the disabled are reserved for official badge holders 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

There is no charge for disabled drivers displaying the official badge. The size of each disabled bay is 3.6m wide, 4.8m long. Please ensure that your badge is clearly visible. If there is no disabled bay free, you are allowed to park in the standard pay and display bays whilst clearly displaying your blue badge.
