Open spaces within the borough

Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council is responsible for maintaining parks and open spaces within Hinckley.

We provide information about local parks maintained by the council, including those with play areas, recreation grounds and green areas. We also include maps to help you locate the park/green space.

Some parks and open spaces in the borough are maintained by the relevant parish or town councils.

Protecting public spaces

We have adopted a public space protection order (PSPO) to prevent individuals or groups of people committing anti-social behaviour in public spaces.

Events on our parks and open spaces

All of our sites are situated close to residential areas, and any proposed activity that includes either a live performance or amplified music or similar may not be suitable as it could cause a possible nuisance.
