Support groups

There are several support groups emerging across the district, that have been set up by volunteers. These groups are a great opportunity for sponsors and their guests to meet others who are in similar situations and share information and experiences.

Leisure Centre 

Hinckley Leisure Centre is very generously looking to offer three months premium membership to Ukrainian arrivals for free. To access this offer, the Ukrainian or their host will need to ring 01455 6100 11 or go to the Leisure Centre reception and ask to book a tour. It is recommended that the host attends the tour to help provide address and any additional info that may be needed. Safety advice

Emergency services are recommending that hosts share their address and postcode with their guests and that they make a note of this in their phones or display it around the house. This is to help the Ukrainian guests if they get lost or need to call the emergency services on 999. It is also advised that you discuss with them how to call for emergency services, if needed.
