Annual accounts
About the accounts
In annual accounts you will find the statement of accounts, the annual audit and inspection letter, the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) 260 and the summary statement of accounts:
- *Statement of accounts: This is the council's published accounts containing details of the council's income and expenditure for the year and a balance sheet showing the council's net worth at the end of the year. If you require the statement of accounts in an alternative format, please contact the Exchequer Team Leader on 01455 255649
- Annual audit and inspection letter: This is a letter from the Audit Commission setting out their findings of all audits and inspections they have carried out during the year and their assessment of the council based on this work
- International Standards on Auditing (ISA) 260: This is a statement by the council's external auditors, detailing the findings from their audit of the statement of accounts and their opinion on the statement
