Proms in the Park — 8 June

This free evening concert at Hollycroft Park will feature Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Wind Orchestra. Gates open at 5pm with the concert to begin at 6pm and finish 8.30pm.

Mallory Mile — 10 June

Get your family and your bike warmed up for National Bike Week and ride the Mallory Mile from 6 to 8pm. Cycling helmets are compulsory for all riders.

Armed Forces Day — 29 June

In partnership with the Hinckley combined Armed Forces and Veterans Community. Everyone is welcome to come and thank our past and present serving armed forces. There will be an outdoor service at 11am led by Reverend Ian Hill from Churches Together and a parade through the town centre.

Hinckley BID Soapbox Derby – 30 June

The famous Hinckley BID Soapbox Derby is back again for a 13th year! This is a tremendously fun, family event for the teams and spectators alike. Comprising both a jump or a chicane, it is the driver’s choice as they steam down the 200m Castle Street hill cheered on by the crowds! 11am start.

Cost:

  • Free to spectate
  • £25 fee to enter a soapbox
