About the plan
Sheepy neighbourhood plan review
Sheepy Neighbourhood Plan Group published proposed modifications to the 'made' plan in April 2021 and undertook their Regulation 14 Pre-submission consultation from 20 April 2021 to 1 June 2021. Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council (HBBC) submitted representations to this consultation, and you can view these comments by downloading the document here: HBBC Response to Sheepy NDP Modifications Reg 14 (PDF)
As a result, Sheepy Parish then made changes to the plan and HBBC undertook the Regulation 16 consultation from Friday 3 December 2021 to 5pm Friday 21 January 2022.

Examination
Andrew Matheson was appointed to examine the submitted neighbourhood plan review and the examination commenced on 1 February 2022. Documents issued during the examination can be found below:

The examiner has concluded that the Sheepy Parish Neighbourhood Plan can be made (following modification).
The making of the reviewed plan
This version of the neighbourhood plan supersedes the 2019 version, and now forms part of the development plan for Hinckley and Bosworth. The policies in the plan will be given full weight when assessing planning applications that affect land covered by the plan. The relevant documents for the making of the plan can be found below:
