Hinckley National Rail Freight Interchange
Current position
Tritax Symmetry resubmitted the proposal to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) on 17 March 2023, following initial withdrawal on 2 March. The application was accepted by PINS on 13 April and the project has entered the ‘Pre-Examination’ phase. At the time of writing, Tritax are undertaking their statutory responsibility to publicise that the project has been accepted by PINS.
The next stage will be the opening of the period during which ‘relevant representations’ may be submitted via the PINS website. This is expected to be open from mid-May to the middle of June.
