Temperature maintenance
Excess heat
If temperatures exceed 25°C, there is an increased risk of dehydration, cardiac arrest and stroke.
Sunlight, poor ventilation, lack of space and faulty or inappropriate heating systems can all contribute to excessive heat. Attic flats and compact dwellings are more prone to overheating.
Safe homes should have adequate ventilation and a controllable heating system which you can control.
