Council house tenancy agreements
What happens if I break the conditions of my tenancy agreement?
If you break the conditions of your tenancy agreement, or allow others to do so, we may take action against you. Action may include warning letters, unacceptable behaviour contracts, or legal action such as an injunction or applying to demote your tenancy. If issues continue, despite efforts by the council to resolve concerns, we may seek an order for possession of your property from the court. If granted this could lead to you being evicted from your home.
