Outcomes of the review
At its meeting on 1 November, Council agreed the following changes arising from the community governance review.
Bagworth & Thornton
The number of overall seats remains the same with Bagworth ward increasing from four to five seats and Thornton ward decreasing from four to three seats.
Current representation:
- Parish ward: Bagworth:
- Number of councillors: Four
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 327
- Parish ward: Thornton:
- Number of councillors: Four
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 234
New representation from 4 May 2023:
- Parish ward: Bagworth:
- Number of councillors: Five
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 278
- Parish ward: Thornton:
- Number of councillors: Three
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 283
Peckleton
The name of the parish be amended to 'Kirkby Mallory, Peckleton & Stapleton Parish' with the name of the parish council amended to 'Kirkby Mallory, Peckleton & Stapleton Parish Council'.
Stoke Golding
The number of councillors on Stoke Golding Parish Council be increased from seven to eight councillors.
Current representation:
- Parish: Stoke Golding:
- Number of councillors: Seven
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 266
New representation from 4 May 2023:
- Parish: Stoke Golding:
- Number of councillors: Eight
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 232
Sutton Cheney
The name of Sutton Cheney Parish be amended to 'Dadlington & Sutton Cheney Parish' with the name of the parish council amended to 'Dadlington & Sutton Cheney Parish Council' The number of councillors for Dadlington ward be increased from three to four.

- Parish ward: Shenton:
- Number of councillors: Two
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 43
- Parish ward: Sutton:
- Number of councillors: Two

New representation from 4 May 2023:
- Parish ward: Dadlington:
- Number of councillors: Four
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 59
- Parish ward: Shenton:
- Number of councillors: Two
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 43
- Parish ward: Sutton:
- Number of councillors: Two
- Electors per councillor (2027 projection): 56
