Elections held in the borough
There are many types of election that take place across the borough, including UK Parliamentary elections, elections for Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, Leicestershire County Council, and the 24 parish and town councils in the borough-area.
There are also different types of referendums, including neighbourhood planning referendums and parish polls.
Electoral Services administer elections for the borough.

Most elections are held on a regular schedule, with a polling day taking place on the first Thursday in May. However, some elections can happen at any time (like a snap general election) or because a casual vacancy has occurred.
