The winners

The winners will be selected by our judging panel and winners will be notified in writing.

You must be a Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council council tenant to enter this competition.

If you are winner (first, second or third), we would like to use your photographs for marketing purposes. This will be done with your full permission.

The prizes

There are three prizes in each category:

  • First prize £50
  • Second Prize £25
  • Third prize £10

The categories were:

  • Best communal or shared garden (collective effort of multiple residents)
  • Most improved garden (significant before and after transformation)
  • Best floral display (best creative colour of flowers in bloom)
  • Best small space (window box, hanging basket, balcony or patio - best creative use of a small space)
  • Wildlife champion (created or installed a bee house, bug hotel, bird feeder/bath)
  • Best budding gardener (under 16s - grow bag, container, plant/veg/fruit, wildlife provision)
