Earl Shilton Conservation Area
Overview

The Earl Shilton Conservation Area, which was designated by the council in March 2002, represents a very important part of the village's industrial heritage.
Within its boundaries are examples of buildings which reflect the development of the boot and shoe industry. These include small garden workshops, late 19th century factories and associated residential terraces, including a manager's house.
Rare examples of a group of Framework Knitters cottages are also present.
