Recycling of electrical items
Location of banks
To help residents to correctly dispose of small electrical items, we have provided two locations around the borough with bright pink recycling banks. The locations are:
Burbage
- Millennium Hall, Britannia Road, LE10 2HF
Desford
- Bosworth College, Leicester Lane, LE9 9JL (in the car park adjacent to the swimming pool and sports hall)
The banks are designed only for small electrical items such as:
- Kettles
- Electric toothbrushes
- Hairdryers
- Electronic toys
- Radios
- Remote controls
- Shavers
- Digiboxes
- Irons
- Video recorders
- Small DIY tools
- Telephones
- Clocks
- Other small electricals
