Council tax discounts for apprentices
Overview
If you are an apprentice and you are working to learn a trade or business, and you are also enrolled on a training course approved by the National Council for Vocational Qualifications, you may be entitled to a 25% council tax discount.
If you are the sole occupier in the property and qualify for this discount, you will receive a 50% discount.
You must earn no more than £195 gross per week to qualify for this discount.
