Second adult rebate

• You can make a claim for second adult rebate online-it is quick and easy to do.
• We may not require evidence to support your application. However, your online form will tell you what evidence to provide and when to upload it. Please make sure your evidence is up to date and, if you are not able to supply it when submitting your application, please supply within one month of making the claim.
• If you had wanted to claim second adult rebate before but you were unable to because there was a circumstance that stopped you, you can ask for your benefit to be backdated on your claim form. Please note that we can only consider this if you can show that you had a 'good cause' as to why you did not claim earlier: Get your benefit backdated
• Once your claim has been assessed we will write to you to confirm whether you are entitled to help with your rent and council tax and if so, how much we will pay every week
