Statement of community involvement (SCI)
Overview
The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out the standards to which the council will engage and consult the public and other stakeholders during the production of the Local Plan, as well as when dealing with planning applications. Planning Practice Guidance requires local planning authorities to review their SCIs every five years.
The consultation period on the SCI finished on Monday 29 July 2024. All representations received during this period have been taken into account by the Borough Council in preparing the final version of the SCI. The representations and council response can be found in the responses received through consultation document.
An Equality Impact Assessment has been carried out to determine the document's impacts.
