Free parking on Easter Saturday in selected Hinckley car parks
Shopping in Hinckley will be given a boost with free car parking in selected town centre car parks on Easter Saturday.
Shoppers will be able to park for free from 9am in Trinity Vicarage, Lower Bond Street and Holliers Walk car parks.
Church Walk car park (after 9am) will also be partially open, with limited spaces for the Easter weekend. Church Walk will then close again for one week to enable the car park to be resurfaced.
Shoppers are reminded that parking is free in all council run car parks on Bank Holidays and Sundays throughout the year which includes Good Friday (29 March) and Easter Monday (1 April).
Council Leader, Councillor Stuart Bray said:
I’m pleased to say we are bringing back our free town centre parking offer for Easter. Over the Easter bank holiday weekend, shoppers and residents can support our fantastic Hinckley town centre businesses while enjoying free parking in selected car parks over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
We will be offering free parking on Easter Saturday from 9am in Trinity Vicarage, Lower Bond Street and Holliers Walk car parks plus Church Walk car park will also partially reopen. We are offering this to thank shoppers for their patience during the recent Church Walk improvement works.
