Feast Hinckley a success once again
The weather held out over the weekend as popular food and drink festival Feast Hinckley returned to Argents Mead in the town centre.
The free to attend festival, which is organised by the Borough Council, ran on Saturday and Sunday (3 – 4 August), with over 45 vendors offering attendees a range of national and international cuisine.
To accompany the culinary delights, visitors enjoyed performances from Richie Phillips, Ukulele Box Vox, Julie Sings and Ascia; plus, a 120-foot giant inflatable assault course sponsored by Hinckley BID.
Local radio station Fosse 107 provided the soundtrack to the weekend and even four-legged friends were looked after with stalls selling a variety of pet treats.
Executive Member for Culture, Leisure and Tourism at the Borough Council, Cllr Mark Bools said: “We were delighted to see Feast Hinckley return for another successful and enjoyable weekend this summer.
“Thousands of visitors were treated to great food and drink options from around the world, with many of the vendors based within 10 miles of the town centre.
“It was a fantastic weekend in the sunshine, with great music and other entertainment going down a treat alongside the fantastic food. We are already looking forward to next year’s event.”
